The Thermo Scientific Keytek Minizap MZ-15/EC 16kV ESD simulator gun is a totally integrated lightweight hand-held tester featuring ease of use, and the ability to withstand long-term operation in rugged environments. By simply interchanging plug-in tips, you can test to risetime standards, as well as do ‘reality checks’ that indicate product performance in intended environments. Multiple ESD events can be generated by a human discharge, and also by other ESD simulators that introduce additional artificial and energetic multiple discharges. The KeyTek Series 2000 hand-held or tripod-mounted ESD simulation test system provides a combination of performance characteristics that enable users to test to various ESD standards including IEC, ANSI, SAE and MIL-STD. Interchangeable discharge networks, current injection adapters, and tips (bundled or stand-alone) all plug directly into the discharger’s barrel, and facilitate testing to a broad range of ESD test methodologies to help users achieve market and company-driven quality objectives, and regulatory standards. The Keytek ZapMaster is a automated, high-speed ESD test system developed to test ICs and advanced electronic devices. The ZapMaster system can be configured from 64 pin (Model 7/1) to a 256 pin (Model 7/4) system in 64 pin increments.
