    Using the required 4' by 4' ground reference plane mentioned in ESD compliance standards IEC/EN 61000-4-2, ISO 10605 and many more, the connection of your ESD target will sit approximately 3 feet off the ground. Slightly higher than most standard test benches and allowing for close proximity connection to your oscilloscope.
