3M 753 Electrostatic Discharge Simulator for Human Body Model (HBM) & Machine Model (MM)

    Description

    The 3M 753 HBM/MM ESD Simulator allows you to simulate electrostatic discharge events at precisely controlled output voltages. It was primarily designed as a tool for determining application trigger voltages of 3M 751 Static Event Detectors. However, it is a suitable tool for any Human Body Model and Machine Model ESD testing and debugging before going for compliance to MIL-STD-883 or JEDEC 22 A115, A115 or other HBM/MM ESD immunity standards.

    The ESD simulators is supplied with two color-coded snap-in discharge network assemblies, allowing users to quickly select the discharge model and polarity. The battery operated unit is light and portable, with several additional accessories provided allowing users to setup and test easily.

        • Resistance: 1500 Ohms ±1%
      • Machine Model (MM):
        • Capacitance = 200 pF ±10%
        • No Resistor
    • Output Voltage: 15 to 5,000 V
    • Display Resolution:
      • 1 V at or under 800 V
      • 10 V at or above 1000 V
    • Display Accuracy: 3% of total reading
    • Stability: 1% after 10 minutes of settling
